Canary Wharf Group wanted to celebrate the launch of Eden Dock, a new waterfront public space developed in partnership with the Eden Project Cornwall, by communicating its dedication to sustainability, biodiversity, and green initiatives.
The client also wanted to reinforce the area as a vibrant and multifaceted destination by showcasing engaging content highlighting Canary Wharf's food and drink, arts and events, retail, and workspaces.
Luxury London Media’s design and editorial team worked closely with Canary Wharf Group to create EXPLORE Canary Wharf, a visually striking print publication incorporating elegant typography, high-quality photography, and a sophisticated layout. The bespoke newspaper was designed to capture the essence of the Eden Dock launch while showcasing Canary Wharf’s wider lifestyle offering.
The newspaper, printed on FSC-certified and 100% recyclable paper stock, produced compelling articles highlighting Canary Wharf Group’s sustainability initiatives and the importance of urban green spaces in the area. The newspaper featured local businesses, artists, chefs, and environmentalists contributing to the area’s dynamic landscape to position Canary Wharf as one of the go-to green destinations in the capital.
To generate data capture, a competition offering one lucky person the chance to win £1,000 to spend in Canary Wharf was featured in the newspaper.
Luxury London Media printed 10,000 copies of EXPLORE Canary Wharf, with half being distributed by Canary Wharf Group to the local tenants and residents. The additional copies were distributed via Address Intelligence, Luxury London Media’s in-house marketing agency, in a branded paper wrap to a highly targeted selection of recipients in the surrounding areas.
